As a fourth-generation Ueshiba, Mitsuteru continues the family tradition of inheriting the role of technical and cultural leader of aikido.<\/p>\n<p>Since April 2012, he has served as D\u014dj\u014dch\u014d (technical director) of the Aikikai\u2019s main dojo, Hombu D\u014dj\u014d, in Tokyo. Mitsuteru Ueshiba conducts regular training there, participates in international aikido events, and represents the Aikikai worldwide. His teaching style reflects a respect for the classical form, purity of technique, and cultural values of aikido.
